Am I the only one who is tired of hearing about this guy? If you haven’t heard already apparently Buffalo signed him - which means that their coaching staff, like the 900 before them on other teams, is under the impression that they can turn this ugly duckling into a swan. My bet is that by the end of the next season they will be eating Peking Duck. Damn it now I am hungry.
Let us look at him for a second – how many teams have to cut him for him to get it? My mother told me “If it is everyone else, it is probably you.” For this guy that is spot on. How many teams has he played for? San Fransisco, Philadelphia, and Dallas. They all hated him. His statistics are decent, but not enough to warrant his attitude – his best season was 9 years ago – NINE YEARS. The man has bashed every team he has ever been on, coaches, players, and the fans – and yet teams keep signing him. WHY?
Let us consider the facts here folks – you have a solid wide receiver who can not play nice with anyone. His off the field antics actually rival those of some mid 90s Cowboys’ players. Everything that comes out of his mouth is crap – all of it. He has been in the position his entire career to become a team leader and has instead always chosen to drag his team’s morale down. He is a bacteria, a virus, a parasite that will stop at nothing to destroy the team he is on. So why sign him?
Simply put Terrell Ownes delivers two things: The idiot can catch, when the mood suits him, and much akin to a late career Mike Tyson, he helps fill seats. It has almost become like waiting for Tyson to bite the ear off yet another unsuspecting player, opponent or fan. People just can’t wait to see what he is going to do next. Watching Owens speak at a post game press conference is like watching in slow motion the blind driver of a bus full of nuns go plummeting through a school of toddlers during recess – you just want to look away, you need to look away, and yet you can’t.
Maybe if we all start changing the channel his allure will ware off and thus teams may not sign him anymore. Until then we are going to be force fed more T.O. by Buffalo this coming season – and that crap rhymes.

As an Australia-based Bills fan, I found your blog on google and read a few of your other Bills posts.
I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the good work. Look forward to reading more from you in the future.
Thanks for the comment. We weren’t bashing the Bills – that’s for sure – but their choice on receiver signing… not so sure. Great skills, terrible attitude.
