This has multiple threads taking place. Is this a message about HIV-positive teenagers feeling their rights are infringed upon because they have to tell potential partners about their infection? This seems so waaaaaay out there as to be almost unbelievable as a position to promote. Then the core message changes and delves into the abortion debate that has little to do with the primary effort dealing with HIV infection.
This is a swirling choatic piece. The only thing missing is a section devoted to instructing teenagers how to build nuclear weapons.
Upon further investigation, it seems that the author’s Irish family and my own would have been on opposing sides of “the Troubles”. Eh… water under the bridge.
