Apparently there has been a massive recall of the H1N1 Vaccine for kids.

ARE YOU SURPRISED? I’m not saw that one coming since the late 60s.
It looks like this is a self-induced recall particular to virulence factors (needed for antibody production). As is normal (at least given how this type of thing has been handled for the past 30 years) they did one of those “shoot, aim, aim… oops”. Instead of declaring a global recall, why not post a statement outlining the situation… as in, “there is no health issue with the vaccine, however we reiterate that it is recommended that two dosages are dispensed to children one month apart – ESPECIALLY due to our latest findings that show some of the vaccine has lost its ’strength’ – but only marginally given our very strict quality criteria – so be safe and double vaccinate for kids under 3″.
Anxiety is so high around the vaccination program that they figurative shot themselves directly in the leg with this one.
The same can be said about the Copenhagen conference (particular to anxiety on both sides of the debate). My note to Gore: Stop trying to “sell” people on climate issues. Openness wins here – Outline the areas where data is light. Present the facts – and only the facts, then sit down and shut the f up. A Nobel Peace Prize IS NOT the same thing as a Nobel Prize in Science. So please Al, shut the f up unless you are introducing a REAL Scientist ’cause you’re killin’ me over har (and embarrassing me in front of my blinkinblogs friends).
