Ahh the Gulf of Mexico, so beautiful this time of year. I love everything about it. The beaches, the weather, the soft sand, the food of the locales that one may visit. The islands are a lush paradise with amazing offerings of their own. I particularly love the oil slick that has destroyed all that I have mentioned above. Many people will tell you that this oil spill isn’t nearly as bad as it is being made out to be, you know demonizing big oil and government and all that Jazz. The link provided is probably just propaganda too – pics probably taken from a select area – you know.. like most of the Gulf north of the oil spewing HOLE IN THE OCEAN FLOOR.

To me – anybody that can do this to any ecosystem and handle it in what I see as the borderline carefree way in which BP has should be executed. When the COO of BP was questioned on NPR about all the crap that they pulled his responses were awesome – yeah but think of all the good we are doing now!
