Mussolini, you sly dog – you saw this coming! So before the U.S. slides into a Brazillian society, you may want to check out this article about how we got there. Short and sweet, please note the juiciest bit – the fact that companies were borrowing $30 for every $1 they actually possessed. They then distributed this “imaginary” money to fat bastard managers, who passed it off as real currency to the local Ferrari dealership and Neiman Marcus.
