American capitalism gone with a whimper
It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.
True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy”. Pride blind the foolish.
Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.
The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.
These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?
These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.
Then came Barack Obama’s command that GM’s (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of “pure” free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.
So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a “bold” move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK’s Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our “wise” Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.
Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper…but a “freeman” whimper.
So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set “fair” maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.
The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.
The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

“Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue)”…naw, that doesn’t discredit the author whatsoever.

Ironically I was just talking about Franks today. Total Douche – that said, on NPR anyway, I have yet to hear another congressman talk as, well, frankly as he does. Probably because he has nothing to lose any more – you know – boyhood brothels and such.
I still found this article compelling.

It would have been more compelling without the homophobia, unjustified generalities, isolationism, blind nationalism, and frenetic Putin hand-jobs. The latter is perhaps the biggest criminal currently running a developed nation. What a joke – I can’t believe BB duplicated inflammatory content from this bible-thumping nutjob. What’s next, a picture of Obama as the Joker, with a heading about nationalist healthcare being the “final solution”?
Oh wait – nevermind.

I posted it more to share the point of view of people outside of America only. I notice you focussed on the parts that you find disagreeable – how American of you. Start waving your flag harder, I can’t see it from wher eI am sitting.

Sigh…it has nothing to do with being pro-American or not. As usual, we share different points of view on standards for BB. Since you are the editor, you can choose to present whatever you want here – just do not expect me to contribute any longer.

Just wow.
August 29th, 2009 at 9:04 pm
I find it sad that you forgot our tagline. The article I posted here is all about that.
August 29th, 2009 at 9:57 pm
I don’t really care what the tagline says – maybe you should’ve added a “snarky” comment on the end of this ridiculous posting. Either way, thanks for giving me the opportunity to express myself on your blog – and I apologize for my sincerity.

What amuses me the most about your obvious disdain for this posting is how all I did was reference the original and copy and past it. I added no commentary nor did I give my perspective on it – that said you disagreed with what the author so much that you really proved the point of me posting it to begin with – as well as illustrated why the tagline for our site reads as it does.
I shared someone’s perspective from another country on the United States – thats it. If we didn’t from time to time do so then we really are just being close minded. I went on in a comment to say that I found it compelling – which oddly enough so did you. Dictionary.com defines compelling to be “having a powerful and irresistible effect; requiring acute admiration, attention, or respect: a man of compelling integrity; a compelling drama.” You chose the attention route, whereas I see it as having a irresistible effect enough to post it here so that people like yourself could discuss it. Appears to have worked.
That said if writing for BB has graduated to a painful experience for you, I can only offer my condolences and understand if you wish to disconnect yourself from perspectives that are not akin enough to your own. Thank you for all your great posts, I enjoyed reading each of then, whether I agreed with them or not. Blinkinblogs will be lessened by your absence.

In review of the posts on BB I have to wonder if the article had been on http://www.huffingtonpost.com if it would have been viewed differently.
Either way Blinkblogs will now be missing a point of view, and therefore one less road of thought to ponder down.

My final note: I understand compelling – but compelling is not all about the actual writing. It is about the context, the source, the perspective. Submitted works about important subjects is not just a collection of words, it has a certain responsibility to it. I understand your perspective – give every “viewpoint” a venue. Free speech at its purest. However, I don’t believe that Joe the Ignorant Plumber should be given an equal-height soapbox compared to someone else. Joe should get his own blog, which he had – yet you chose to duplicate it here for “compelling”reasons, with no commentary or anything uniquely Thraxxus.
Which leads me to my next issue – by duplicating someone’s content word for word, you are supporting it no less than if the words came out of your own mouth. I know you personally, so I am confident that you do not agree with him 100%. However, visitors to this site do not know better. Again, this is your editorial style but that doesn’t mean I have to indirectly support it.
The Obama pic is just irresponsible – plain and simple. It doesn’t even qualify as shock journalism or thinly-veiled racist pandering, it is pulling shit entirely out of an ass and plastering it up on a website to which I indirectly support. I can not, in clear conscious, recommend enough of BB’s content (and approach to content) to my friends and family. It does not represent me. However, my writing for BB and Thraxxus’ previous blog has otherwise been a pleasant experience. Thank you for the opportunity.

BTW – I appreciate your suggestion regarding posting content of a foreign (not of BB origin) origin and make sure to append text that illustrates whether or not said content is something I agree or disagree with. I can see how not doing so might confuse a reader moving forward.
August 30th, 2009 at 1:57 pm
I thought (as I believe Thraxxus did) that the viewpoint of the foreign author was intriguing and, by nature of this, worthy of a solid read. A different viewpoint offering a unique look at “us” – regardless of the author’s obvious ignorance of political correctness (How dare he!). “GlazedandConfused” should understand that he is actually behaving in the same fashion this Russian author describes. Americans are extremely bloated by our own unique self-righteousness… full of our own twisted version of “openness” merged with “superiority” underpinned by thinly veiled “agenda”… so much so that any information that smacks against this overly-sensitive construct quickly shuts down the discussion.
I applaud Thraxxus for his resiliency.

Thanks Caravaggio – now if only I could write as well as you did. From now on I will most likely just say “What Caravaggio said!” in my posts.
